Weekend in Negombo

This weekend we traveled approximately 45 km North of Colombo to Negombo. We stayed at Browns Beach Hotel, which was not as luxurious as some of the other resorts (eg no tvs) but we had a pleasant stay as the staff was friendly, the food was good and we had a beautiful view of the stormy ocean from our room.
